🎉 New Features
1. Merchant Courier Assignment and Delivery Workspace
- The Delivery tab can organize supported self-delivery orders into Pending Assignment, Awaiting Payment, and courier-specific groups.
- The Delivery header shows operational counts such as available couriers, pending assignments, awaiting payment, and delivering orders.
- Assigned courier name, phone number, and delivery status are available from supported order details.
- Authorized staff can assign or reassign a merchant courier directly from the order details.
- Only couriers with an active shift are available for assignment; when only one eligible courier is available, the assignment can continue without an additional selection dialog.
- Courier-role staff see orders assigned to themselves, and checking out their assigned order no longer triggers an unnecessary order reassignment prompt.
- Why it matters: Restaurants using their own couriers can manage delivery workload and order ownership more clearly from the POS.
- Configuration required: Merchant couriers and the supported self-delivery workflow must be configured for the store. Courier assignment requires the Assign Courier permission.
2. Configurable POS Order Type Entries
- POS order entry cards can now use the order type settings delivered from Back Office.
- Each enabled entry can use its configured display name, color, and sort order.
- The entry layout adapts to the number of available order types and becomes scrollable when more than five entries are displayed.
- The selected configured order type is retained as the order subtype and is preferred on active orders, order details, checkout, history, and transaction details.
- Base order type colors are also used by supported order filters.
- Existing stores continue to use the previous built-in order type behavior when no new order type configuration is available.
- Why it matters: Merchants can present order entry options that better match their service model and staff workflow.
- Configuration required: Configure the desired order type entries, names, colors, visibility, and order in Back Office.
3. Delivery Address Editing
- Authorized staff can edit the customer delivery address for supported self-delivery orders before fulfillment is completed.
- Address editing is supported for applicable orders created in the POS and applicable online delivery orders.
- Customer and delivery information is also available in supported in-store order history details.
- Why it matters: Staff can correct an incomplete or inaccurate address without recreating the order.
- Permission required: Staff must have the Place Order permission, and the order must still be in an editable delivery state.
4. Dual Pricing for Open-Price Products
- When Dual Pricing is enabled, the open-price input is treated as the cash price.
- The corresponding card price is calculated and displayed during price entry.
- Cash and card open prices are retained separately for checkout calculations.
- Changing the selected product specification resynchronizes the open price with the selected specification.
- Why it matters: Open-price products can now follow the same cash and card pricing model as other supported products.
- Configuration required: Dual Pricing and the applicable open-price product must be enabled and configured.
✨ Improvements
1. Delivery Summary and delivery fee reporting improved
- Shift Detail and End of Day reports now include a Delivery Summary when delivery data is available.
- The summary can include delivery order amount, completed order amount, delivery fees, and Cash on Delivery amount.
- Shift printing supports the Delivery Summary, and rows without report data are hidden on screen and print.
- Bill and order history details now display the delivery fee when applicable.
- Dual Pricing checkout now retains separate cash and card delivery-fee amounts.
- Why it matters: Managers can review delivery activity and fees more consistently across reports, checkout, and order history.
2. COD tip selection supported
- Supported Cash on Delivery orders can now open the customer tip selection flow during card checkout.
- Existing eligibility checks for the store's tip settings, customer display, and payment method continue to apply.
- Why it matters: Customers paying a COD order by card can choose a tip before payment is completed.
3. Pizza Builder topping selection and pricing improved
- Toppings can now be selected even when no topping quantity level has been configured.
- Selecting an already-added topping without quantity options removes it directly; configured quantity options continue to use the edit flow.
- When the same topping covers every half or quarter section, supported pricing modes calculate it as one whole topping instead of summing separately rounded section prices.
- Why it matters: Pizza Builder remains usable with simpler configurations and produces more consistent topping prices across portions.
4. Refund, Bar Tab, and order history accuracy improved
- Displayed refund totals now include any refunded tip amount.
- Historical order and transaction details now identify Bar Tab orders more accurately.
- Customer information, assigned courier information, and delivery fees are displayed more consistently in supported order history views.
- Why it matters: Staff can review historical orders, refunds, and delivery information using more complete and accurate details.
5. Ordering, payment, printing, and release stability improved
- Combo initialization and direct-add flows now validate product availability before adding products to the cart.
- Delivery-related kitchen receipt fields and print conditions have been corrected.
- Saved print selections and shift handover printing conditions are handled more reliably.
- Diagnostic records for supported third-party payment requests and results have been improved to support payment troubleshooting.
- Release-build protection for network API interfaces has been strengthened to prevent startup failures caused by code shrinking.
- Why it matters: Daily ordering, payment investigation, printing, and application startup are more reliable.
⚠️ Notes
- Courier grouping and assignment depend on the store's merchant courier configuration, supported self-delivery workflow, order state, and staff permissions.
- Only couriers with an active shift can be selected for assignment.
- Configurable order type entries must be set up in Back Office. Stores without the new configuration continue to use the previous built-in entries.
- Delivery address editing requires the Place Order permission and is not available after the supported delivery flow has been fulfilled.
- Open-price cash and card amounts are separated only when Dual Pricing is enabled.
- COD tip selection is available only when the store's tip settings, customer display, and selected card payment method support the tip flow.
- Pizza Builder pricing continues to follow the product's configured portion pricing mode.
- Delivery Summary content depends on the reporting data returned for the selected Shift or End of Day period.
