Understanding the 24-Hour Report Cycle in POS Systems
A 24-hour report cycle involves compiling and reviewing data from a full day of business operations. These reports provide critical insights into sales, inventory, employee performance, and other key metrics, allowing businesses to maintain accurate records and make informed decisions.
How to change report cycle?
Changing this will affect the report time cycle of your daily report. The data report of tomorrow will calculate base on your new report hour, new setting will not affect today's report time. We suggest setting the cycle time one hour later than your store's normal closing time to ensure that no orders are missed on busy days. Once the cycle is changed, it can only be modified again after 30 days to prevent confusion caused by different report cycles on different days.
Follow step by step:
1. Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.(This function is set in store but not HQ, attention that you are not log in the HQ account)
2. On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Overview, and select Setting > Daily report cycle time on the right.
3. Select your cycle time in the drop-down box.
The data report of tomorrow will calculate base on your new report hour, new setting will not affect today's report time.
We suggest you to set the cycle time 1 hour later than normal close time of your store so that you won't miss the order on busy day.
