About Online Self-pick up Order

Self-pick up order refers to an order that is placed online remotely and then collected by the customers at the store. This method is very helpful to the restaurant operators as it helps to streamline the in-store traffic while for the customers, it brings more convenience for them as they do not have to wait in line for the collection of foods. 

 

How To Set the Online Self-pick up?

In Orderpin POS system, we offer high flexibility to the business owners and customers in term of ordering process. To set the online self-pick up, here are the procedures:

  1. Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.  
  2. On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Settings > Store Management > Order Channel Settings > Online Ordering.

 

As shown in the diagram, you are given flexibility to either enable the self pick-up feature or not. If it's disabled, then your customers will not be able to place an online self-pick up order. On the other hand, you can also set the meal preparation time, depends on the average time spent to prepare a meal by your chefs. This is very crucial as it provides clear updates for the customers on the status of their orders.
