What Is Dejavoo Integration?
Dejavoo is a payment terminal provider widely used in North America. With integration to OrderPin POS, merchants can process card payments seamlessly and securely using Z-Series Dejavoo terminals (e.g., Z9, Z11, Z8).
Integration allows OrderPin POS to send transaction amounts directly to the Dejavoo terminal, reducing manual entry, speeding up checkout, and minimizing human error.
How to Set Up Dejavoo Integration
Prepare Your Dejavoo Terminal
Before integrating:

Ensure the terminal is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).

Take note of the Terminal ID (TID).

Ensure it's already programmed for TPN with your processor.
Connect Dejavoo to OrderPin

Log in to the OrderPin Partner Portal.

Go to:
Merchant Manage > Store Manage > Edit > Payment Settings > POS Payment > Dejavoo

Enter the following details from your Dejavoo account:

Terminal Name
-
TPN
-
Auth Key
- Token
-

Click Save to complete the integration.
Access OrderPin Desktop POS

Login to your OrderPin POS .

Navigate to Settings > Payment Settings.

Look for Payment Terminal and Click “+ Add Payment Terminal”.
- Select the correct TPN and Save the configuration.
How Checkout Works with Dejavoo by SPIN
1. Select "Checkout" in OrderPin POS

After the order is confirmed, tap the “Checkout” button.
2. Choose Payment Method: Dejavoo by SPIN

Tap on “Dejavoo by SPIN”.

The POS system will trigger a payment command to the terminal.
✅ TIP: Ensure the terminal is powered on and connected to the network before selecting this option.
3. Customer Taps/Inserts Card on Dejavoo Terminal

The customer taps, inserts, or swipes their card.

Terminal will process the transaction via the SPIN gateway.

Once approved, you’ll hear a beep and see an approval message.

4. POS Will Automatically Show "Payment Successful"

The status will update to “Paid” on the OrderPin POS
Troubleshooting Tips
Issue | Solution |

Terminal not responding | Check power & internet. Reboot the device and retry. |
"Terminal not connected" error | Ensure correct IP and port in Payment Settings > Dejavoo Configuration. |
Payment stuck/spinning | Cancel and retry. Check TPN logs or use manual card entry if needed. |
Receipt not printing | Check printer connection and settings in OrderPin. |
How to Input Tips (Tipping Function)
There are 2 ways to input customer tips when using OrderPin POS with Dejavoo payment terminal integration:
Method 1: Input Tip Directly on the Dejavoo Terminal (Before Checkout)
🎯 Best for: Self-service payments or when customer wants to enter tip at payment time
Steps:

On the POS, select Checkout.

Choose payment method: Dejavoo by SPIN.

The terminal will show “Enter Tip” screen (if tipping is enabled in the terminal settings).

Customer enters tip amount before continuing to pay.
-
Terminal processes the full payment including tip.

POS will reflect the total paid including tip automatically.
⚙️ Note: To enable this, tipping must be set up in the Dejavoo terminal configuration (under SPIN settings or tip prompts).
Method 2: Add Tip from Order Record in OrderPin POS (After Checkout)
Steps:

Go to
Order > Order Record
and select the relevant order. -
Tap "Please enter" next to tips.

Select the tip amount and tap Save.

Manual Batch from Dejavoo Terminal
1. Navigate to Batch Menu

Look for “Daily Settlement” option.
2. Select “Batch Settlement”, then tap on "Settle Now"
