About Online Self-Delivery
Self-delivery refers to the delivery serviced managed and operated directly by the restaurant operators without relying on the third-party delivery platforms. This allows the restaurants to have full control over the whole delivery process, ensuring a quality delivery without jeopardizing the food quality, while increasing profit margin by avoiding third-party fees.
How To Set the Online Self-Delivery?
To set the online self-delivery, kindly follow the following procedures:
- Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.
- On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Settings > Store Management > Order Channel Settings > Online Ordering.
- proceed to Self-delivery, activate the status.
Important Components in Self-Delivery Setting
There are some important fields that you need to take note while setting up the self-delivery order feature:
- Self-Delivery Status
- Starting Price
- Delivery Area
- Delivery Fee & Time
Self-Delivery Status
You can choose to activate or deactivate it based on the current situation of your store. For example, during busy hours, you might want to deactivate the delivery feature due to the tremendous crowds in the store to be served.
Starting Price
It refers to the minimum order price that customers need to fulfil in order to use the self-delivery order feature. For example, you require your customers to have a minimum purchase order of 200pesos, which means that any amount lower than this amount will not be entitled for self-delivery.
Delivery Area
It refers to the area that your delivery will cover. For example, 10km from your store. Any location within 10km will be eligible for a self-delivery service.
Delivery Fee & Time
It refers to the delivery fee and time taken for the delivery to arrive based on the delivery distance.
For example, the maximum distance that you cover is 12km, and you can actually set the price and delivery time based on interval.
