Manage tax settings in your Back Office to ensure the correct taxes are charged on every order at the OrderPin POS System. Define the names of your taxes and enter the different tax rates your restaurant charges, then set up tax calculation rules to determine when each tax is charged.
Important:
Tax laws are different in every region and can change at any time. Consult a tax professional for specific advice regarding your region.
Adding and editing tax rates
In the Back Office, different rates are set for different menu categories, so that restaurants can charge customers corresponding taxes.
Important: Once a tax rate is added to the backend, it cannot be deleted. If you want to cancel the tax, you can directly set the tax rate to 0%.
You can follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.
- From the home page, select Settings > Payment & Fee > Fee Settings > Tax.
- Input the tax name, for example, "SST(6%)".
- Input the tax rate, for example, "6%".
- Click "Save".

Suggestion: When setting the tax rate, you can add brackets and manually enter the tax rate in the brackets. In this way, the printed receipt will directly display the tax rate, and customers can know the tax rate at a glance, as shown below:
