What is Stock Counting?

Stock counting is a critical inventory management practice in the food and beverage industry, helping businesses ensure accuracy in their inventory records and support operational efficiency.

New stock counting

1. Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.
2. On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Inventory > Inventory Management > Stock Counting.
3. Click "New stock counting".

Before editing, tap on "Choose Stock ltem" and select the stock item you would like to check.

From there, you can change the Real stock quantity to match the System quantity.

System qty = System quantity = System computing should have.

Real qty = Real stock quantity = Actually exists now.

After clicking "Save", the operation will show in the stock counting list.

 

Edit stock counting

After creating the new stock counting, you can still modify the item by clicking it directly before confirmation, but you can no longer modify it after confirmation.

1. Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.
2. On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Inventory > Inventory Management > Stock Counting.

You can only view, not edit.
