What is Voucher?

A voucher is a digital code that provides certain benefits, such as discounts or points. Vouchers are commonly used in promotional activities or loyalty programs, to encourage customer engagement and spending.

Vouchers often come with specific terms and conditions, such as expiration dates, minimum purchase requirements, and limitations on which products or services can be redeemed.

Voucher includes two categories:

  1. Voucher
  2. Voucher record

 

How to create voucher?

Creating a voucher involves several steps, from defining its purpose to distributing it to recipients. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the process to help businesses create effective and enticing vouchers.

1. Click Create new voucher

2. Set Voucher details:

  • Voucher denomination
    • Title: Enter the name of the voucher (E.g. $5 discount, Anniversary Voucher, Cafe Discount, etc.)
    • Voucher Type: Select the type of voucher (amount off or percentage off)
    • Min spending: Specify the minimum spending required to use the voucher (the spending amount must be greater than the voucher amount)
  • Using condition
    • Available stores: Which store is applicable to use this voucher
    • Available products: Which product is applicable to use this voucher
    • Order type: Which ordering type is applicable to use this voucher (Dine in,Takeaway or Self-Pickup,Self Delivery)
  • Validity period setting
    • Validity period type: Specify the number of days after redemption before the voucher expires
    • Activate time: Indicate whether the voucher can be used immediately after redemption or if it can only be used starting the next day

3. Save the voucher

After successfully creating the voucher, it must be configured in points or marketing activities to be used

What is voucher record?

A voucher record refers to a type of voucher to distribute to customer via social media, or any platform by link.

There are two types of voucher: Fixed voucher and Random voucher

 

Fixed voucher 

Distribute the voucher evenly to all customers.

  • Voucher: Choose the voucher
  • How many people can receive a coupon: Distribution quantity available for the voucher
  • End time: End date to redeem the voucher
  • Link card pic: design poster for the voucher
  • Link card title: Name of the voucher (It will appear in WhatsApp)
  • Link card description: Description for the voucher (It will appear in WhatsApp)

 

Random voucher

You can choose multiple coupons and assign the probability of receiving each coupon.

  • Probability of getting the coupon: the probability of a customer getting the voucher
  • Voucher: Choose the voucher
  • How many people can receive a coupon: Distribution quantity available for the voucher
  • End time: End date to redeem the voucher
  • Link card pic: Design a poster for the voucher
  • Link card title: Name of the voucher (It will appear in WhatsApp)
  • Link card description: Description for the voucher (It will appear in WhatsApp)

E.g.

Probability of getting the coupon: 10%

How many people can receive a coupon: 10 people

Out of 100 customer, only 10 people can receive the voucher
