Add or Edit Product

Product simply represents what your business has to offer to the end consumers, such as foods and beverages, or even goods and services. Every product comes with its unique name, the category that they belong to, specifications and price. Besides that, a product description, image and colour labels are also another plus points that Orderpin POS system offers to the merchants, in an effort to make the menu much more outstanding and engaging with the end consumers.

 

Types of Specifications

Generally, the product comes with 2 main specifications: Single and Multiple.

Single

Product with single specification basically means that it is only being sold at one price.

 

Multiple

Product with multiple specification basically means that it is being sold at more than one price. For example, a cup of coffee can be sold in different sizes such as regular and large, while it also means that the price of the coffee differs based on the specifications that are fixed by the business owner.

 

Managing the Addition of Product

Adding the Product

Orderpin POS system offers a very versatile way of adding new product in the menu. The procedures are as follows:

1. Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.
2. On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Products > Product Management > Product List.
3. Click Add button on the Product Section and be directed to a section on the right side of the POS webpage that is being displayed as Product Information.
4. Name the product, choose the Category, and then insert the Specification name with price.
5. Click Save to conclude the whole process.

 

Editing the Product

Basically, editing the product is almost similar to how you added the product in the early stage. The only difference with adding a new product is that you are changing something that is already existing on the menu. 

1. Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.
2. On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Products > Product Management > Product List.
3. Click on the product that you would like to edit.
4. On the Edit Product section, choose the item that you would like to edit (i.e. Name, price).
5. Once done, click Save to conclude the whole process.

 

Additional Functions

1. Uploading Product Image

Apart from the mandatory fields to be filled up, Orderpin POS system also enables you to include the image of the product, which makes the product list much more recognizable to the business operators, while on the consumer end, it offers them a great visual about your product.

 

2. Labelling the Product with Colour

With this function, it makes it easy for you to identify the product during the ordering process. On top of that, it can be very visually satisfying to see each and every product being labeled with colours.
