Tables are essential for restaurants with table service as they are used for orders, billing, and seating. Set table QR codes can enable customers to order by scanning QR. Set a number of seats for each table to split bills by seat on the POS.
Add new tables one by one
- Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.
- On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Settings > Table Management > Table Settings.
- Click the "Add table" button.
- A table must belong to a Table section.Table Code/Name can be named on your demands. The tables will be sorted by the letter or number automatically.
If you were noticed that "The table layout is currently enabled. Tables cannot be added/deleted here. Please go to the table layout to add tables and place them", and if you still need to add table here, follow these steps to "disable the table layout" function.
Add new tables by batch
- Log in to the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.
- From the home page, select Settings > Table Management > Table Settings.
- Click the Batch add button to add tables by batch.
- The Prefix is not necessary, but it must be the English alphabet.
- The Starting number is necessary, and it must be a pure number.
- The Numbers of add tables and Numbers of seats can be set to your demands.
Eg:
If input the Prefix as "VIP", Starting number as "3", and Number of add tables as "5", Numbers of seats as "4"
Then there will be 5 new tables generated. Each table has 4 seats.
The table name of these 5 new tables will be "VIP3", "VIP4", "VIP5", "VIP6", "VIP7".
Delete a table
Tables could only be deleted one by one.
The table can't be deleted when there is an open order on this table, if you want to operate "Delete", close the table order by checking out or canceling it first. Eg:
