Table pax is a very common term in the F&B or hospitality industry. It is basically referred to the number of customers seated at a particular table. 

 

How To Set the Table Pax?

The setting of table pax in the Orderpin POS system can be as simple as punching an order in the system. The following procedures will teach you on how to set the table that best fits your business practice.

  1. Log in the Back Office with your OrderPin POS System credentials.  
  2. On the sidebar of the Back Office, select Settings > Store Management > Business Settings > General Settings.
  3. Enable table pax and order by seat.

Once it has been saved, then you will be able see the number of pax as per table in the end-of-day report, under the paid order list. In case you would like to change the status in the future, you can proceed with the similar procedures. 

Significance of Table Pax

Table pax feature is particularly crucial in the F&B industry such as restaurant or cafe as it provides the following benefits:

  1. Operational efficiency. Helps in managing the flow of guests and optimizing the use of tables.
  2. Inventory management. It makes sure that the inventory of the foods and beverages needed to be served are carefully planned.
