How to use inventory management

How to enable inventory 

Inventory include store  inventory and HQ inventory, shows by different way in different terminals:

 

Inventory mangement in Web POS:

Here are steps to show the inventory in Web POS:

  1. Log in the Web POS with the role of OrderPin POS who possess the permission to edit setting, like shopowner or manage.
  2. On the dashboard of the Web POS, select Settings > Feature manage > Feature list > inventory.
  3. Enable the status of Inventory and it will show on the dashboard.

For HQ inventory, you must login with the Brand Admin Account of the company, which you may consult with your local supplier for the features upgrade.

Inventory mangement in Tablet POS:

For Tablet POS inventory

  1. Log in the Tablet POS with the role of OrderPin POS who possess the permission to view inventory, like shopowner or manage.
  2. On the dashboard of the Tablet POS, select Inventory and you can see the Stock and Report.

But if you are not granted a permission, it will show like this and you should contact the manager to solve it.

 

What is the logic of the inventory?

E.g.To set up the inventory,you will need to itemize the details of the recipe along with the corresponding purchasing and measurement units like this.

  1. First, We need to create the supplier. Refer to Supplier list.
  2. Second, Create the measurement unit / purchasing unit. Refer to Unit-setting.
  3. After configuring the unit settings, proceed to the stock category settings to create the necessary categories. Refer to Stock-category-setting
  4. Once the stock categories have been created, you can proceed to configure the stock item settings.
  5. Link the stock items to the cookbook. Refer to Cookbook-setting.
  6. Now we can set the stock in/stock out. Refer to Inbound-stock and Outbound-stock.
  7. Inbound stock will record in Stock-historyInventory list(Stock-list).
  8. Once order has been paid, amount will be deducted in inventory, you can check it in Stock-history.
  9. When you need to have a inventory verification,Stock Counting would be very useful,you can operate it  weekly/monthly/quarterly.
 

Store Inventory

Stock list/Inventory List: To view the list of the stock that has been created from "Stock item setting''.
Inbound Stock: Stock in for stock/item/raw material.
Outbound Stock: Stock out for stock/item/raw material.
Stock Counting: Stock counting to tally quantity (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly).
Stock History: View Stock History.

Stock item setting: Create stock/item/raw material.
Stock category setting: Category for stock/item/raw material.
Cookbook setting: Place to link the stock item to menu.
Supplier list: Supplier Record.

HQ Inventory

HQ stock item setting: Create stock/item/raw material
HQ stock category setting: Category for stock/item/raw material
HQ supplier list: Supplier Record
HO unit setting: Quantifier setting/unit setting
Branch stock list: View the stock list of branches

HQ account could not link the cookbook to the menu, as OperationCenter can only be setting from HQ/Owner account.
