What is Shift Report?

Shift reports are essential tools for businesses that track daily operations through POS systems. These reports summarize the key metrics and activities during a specific shift, aiding in financial reconciliation, performance analysis, and operational planning.

Key Components of a Shift Report:

  1. Time & Date + Shift duration - To determine the opening and closing time of the shift, as well as the total duration of hours for the shift.
  2. Summary - To calculate actual sales of the store (only paid orders will be calculated)
  3. Tips(if enable):  calculate the tips by cash, third party payment tips or other tips, and show the total tips.
  4. Transactions - To calculate the total quantity of checkout orders, sold products, refunded orders and refunded products, as well as to compute the average spending amount for each table per day and the reload amount (in the Mini Program).
  5. Cash Drawer Report - To calculate the actual ending cash, sum the starting cash with daily cash income, cash paid in or out, and cash refund amounts.
  6. Payment Report - To calculate the sales amount for each payment method.
