Dejavoo (Tap to pay)

What is Tap to Pay?

Tap to Pay allows customers to pay using:

  • Contactless Credit/Debit Cards

Instead of inserting or swiping cards, customers can just tap their card/phone on the POS device to pay.

 

How to Set Up Dejavoo Tap to Pay

Prepare Your Dejavoo Terminal

Before integrating:

  • Ensure the terminal is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).

  • Take note of the Terminal ID (TID).

  • Ensure it's already programmed for TPN with your processor.

Connect Dejavoo to OrderPin

  1. Log in to the OrderPin Partner Portal.

  2. Go to:
    Merchant Manage > Store Manage > Edit > Payment Settings > POS Payment > Tap to pay

  3. Enter the following details from your Dejavoo account:

    • Terminal Name

    • TPN

    • Auth Key

    • Token
  4. Click Save to complete the integration.

Access OrderPin Desktop POS

  1. Login to your OrderPin POS .

  2. Navigate to Settings > Payment Settings.

  3. Look for Payment Terminal and Click “+ Add Payment Terminal”.

  4. Select the correct TPN and Save the configuration.

 

How to Use Tap to Pay

1. Proceed to Checkout

After placing the customer’s order, tap the "Checkout" button.

2. Select Payment Method

Choose: Dejavoo

3. Prompt the Customer to Tap

Tap their contactless credit/debit card, or

4. Wait for the Result

If Successful:

  • Payment amount will be confirmed on screen

  • You may print a receipt if required

Third-party interface: Transaction selection and card swipe.
Tips are pre-entry tips configured on Dejavoo and cannot be modified in the order record or transaction history.

❌ If Failed:

  • An error message will appear

  • Try again or use another card/payment method
