Service Charge/Tax is another important component in the daily operation of POS and it is something that can be imposed on the products based on the government regulations. A service charge is usually set by the business owners to help offset certain operating costs.
For the service charge/tax to be appeared on the bill, you have to firstly set it under the Payment Setting. The steps are as follows:

- Login to the POS and head to Settings from the Home page.
- Select the Payment.
- Proceed to Tax.
- Input the Tax Name and Tax Rate.
- Determine if the tax is included in the product price and then if it is discounted.
How does Service Charge/Tax show in the bill?
When the service fee and tax are properly set, upon checkout, the charges will be displayed on the bill and customers will be able to identify how much additional fee that is charged on the items.
