Auto Lock Screen

The system's screen lock feature is designed to enhance security when handling order/checkout/refund/cancel orders.

 

Enable Lock Screen 

1. Navigate to Back Office > Settings > Store Management > Business Settings.

2. Enable Automatic Lock Screen.

These four options only appear after you enable auto-lock. You must select at least one to save.
Lock screen after ordering
Lock screen after checkout
Lock screen after refund
Lock screen after canceling order

When auto-lock is enabled, you will need to verify the store's PIN before saving. If the PIN does not exist, an error message will be displayed, and the configuration will not be saved.

If needed, PIN setting can be set at Account Management.

 

Lock Screen In Different Scenarios

After Ordering

1. Navigate to: ​Main POS > Order Center > New Order.

2. Choose the product, click on "Order".

3. "Order successfully" will show on screen for 3 seconds.

Then the tablet screen jumps to the lock screen page, and you need to re-enter the PIN to log in.

 

After Checkout

1. Navigate to: ​Main POS > Order Center > New Order.

2. Choose the product, then click the ​​"Checkout"​​ button.

3. Please select your payment method and proceed to checkout.​

4. If you need to receive SMS receipts, enter your phone number correctly on the keyboard, and it will automatically jump to the lock screen.

5. If you split an order, you will not be redirected to the lock screen until all split orders have been paid. It will stay on the payment screen.

6. After clicking on "Complete", your tablet will go back to the lock screen in a second. You'll need to enter your PIN again to continue.

 

After Refund

1. Navigate to: ​Main POS > Order Records.

2. Find and select the order you want to refund, then click the ​​"Refund"​​ button.

3. The refund will be processed, and the print window will open automatically.

4. After you finish printing or close the window, your tablet will go back to the lock screen in a second. You'll need to enter your PIN again to continue.

 

After Canceling Order

Partial Order Cancellation (No Screen Lock)​

Removing individual items from an existing order while retaining other items, the system will not go back to the lock screen.

1. Navigate to: ​Main POS > Order Center.

2. Select an active order and choose specific items to cancel.

3. Item cancellation succeeds, without going back to the lock screen.

 

Remove All Items (Automatic Screen Lock)​

Canceling entire orders or removing all items from an order, the system will automatically go back to the lock screen.

1. Navigate to: ​Main POS > Order Center.

2. Select an active order, and remove all items from the order.

3. All items are removed from an order. The system will go back to the lock screen.

 

Order Cancellation(Automatic Screen Lock)​

1. Navigate to: ​Main POS > Order Center.

2. Select an active order, and click on "Cancel".

3. Select the reason for cancellation and click "close order".

4. The system will not go back to the lock screen.
