Operations log & KDS Optimizations & Kiosk Display Optimization

This update focuses on enhancing system transparency and kitchen operation efficiency. We are introducing a powerful new Operations logs feature and rolling out several practical optimizations for the Kitchen Display System (KDS) and Kiosk settings configurations.

1. Operations log

The system now automatically tracks and logs most key operations within the Back Office. 

This function offers a powerful filtering panel that allows precise querying by time range, operator, and operation module. The "operation module" filter uses a cascading selection format, enabling you to drill down to specific functions for quick traceability of any action.

Why It Matters :

  • Audit & Traceability: Easily review the complete history of changes, such as menu item enabling/disabling or price adjustments.

  • Staff Management: Understand the operation history of team members, aiding in accountability clarification and training.

  • Issue Diagnosis: Quickly pinpoint operations that may have caused issues when data discrepancies occur.

Please Note: 

  • Data retention: Operation records are retained for a maximum of 6 months; records older than 6 months are automatically deleted.
  • Access control: Only authorized users can view the corresponding store logs.

1. Navigate to Back Office > Reports > Employee Reports > Operation Log, here will display all operation records:

2. You can filter by time range, operator, and operation module in the upper right corner.

3. To view the details of the changes, click the "Details" button on any operation record. This allows you to quickly locate the relevant operation that may have caused the problem.

E.g., The staff added a table called "table test", and the detailed operation information will be recorded in the "details".

2. KDS Optimizations

We have made several interface improvements to enhance order information readability and kitchen processing efficiency.

Information Display:

Table number will display near the order channel to improve visibility and more accurate food delivery.

E.g. Take an order on Table #1, order will be sent to the KDS screen:

Dine-in and Takeaway orders now also display the customer's name (previously for delivery orders only), improving service personalization.

 

New Layout Option

You can now choose a Horizontal or Vertical display style for product modifiers and add-ons on the KDS.

1. Navigate to KDS > Settings icon (top-left) > Other settings > Display style”.

2. Select the display style as you need, the change takes effect immediately, allowing you to select the most efficient layout based on your kitchen screen or preference.

Notification Enhancement

Notifications are displayed on the KDS for both individual product and full order cancellations.

A scrollable list is provided within the notification to accommodate multiple cancelled products, ensuring more timely and clearer notifications.

 

3. Kiosk Payment Configuration

You can now configure the “Card Payment” guide image on the self-service Kiosk interface from the back office, giving you greater flexibility to control the payment methods presented to customers.
