Multiple Tax

The Multiple Tax allows businesses to apply more than one type of tax to a transaction. This is useful for restaurants and cafés that need to comply with different tax regulations.

The purpose of applying multiple taxes to different products is to ensure accurate tax calculations based on regulatory requirements. Different products may be taxed differently depending on local laws, business policies, or special exemptions.

How to Enable Multiple Tax

Multiple pricing can be set from backoffice > Settings > Fee Settings > Tax.

1. Click "+".

2. Enter the Tax name (e.g., Beverages Tax, Cigarettes Tax) & Tax rate (e.g., 6%, 10%), and click Confirm.

3. The newly added tax will be shown on the page, then save the setting.

How to link Multiple Tax to the menu

Multiple pricing can be linked to the menu from backoffice > Products > Product List.

1. Choose the product that you would like to set taxes for.

2. Add the tax from the category under "Price."

3. Choose the correct tax and click Confirm.

4. Check the configuration. If it is correct, click Save.

How do Multiple Tax show on the POS

The multiple tax will show on the POS as per the image below during checkout.
